My surgeon said that I could spot up to 6 weeks as the "cuff" healed. But if you're worried, call your surgeon! They would rather tell you all is well than you worry, bleed more, worry some more, bleed more, etc!!

What?!?!?! That is so cool; and could I just say people who are MD/PhDs just freak me out? LOL. I think they're too smart and I'm just afraid to talk to them! I'm joking.

I had a MD/PhD doc who worked in one of our labs and she was just so cool. I learned so much from her . . . and she had endo, so was super helpful.

He has his doctorate in epidemiology (injuries & illnesses). He was also an EMT, paramedic, firefighter at one time. He teaches first aid/CPR.. so he has some experience. It’s super helpful. :)
