Does Anyone Have Any Experiences Of Hrt And Endo?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
London, UK

Hi ladies,
After years battling I recently had a hysterectomy. They removed as many patches of endo as they could, and bye bye womb, cervix, ovaries. I'm 39, no children :( Anyway have been on a combined oestrogen and progesterone patch but recently had sex and omg was agony. It wasnt painful pre HRT! I don't know whether to stop it or not. Does anyone have any experiences with various HRT regimens after a hysterectomy? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks v much. Em

I'm not sure. I had a hysterectomy, too.. but I kept my ovary. I'm sorry sex is so painful. Maybe a different hrt will help?

I'm wondering if taking something with a break would be better?
