Having A New Sugery To Remove An Entire Layer Of Tissue Rather Than Just The Effected Tissue?

My OBGYN sentsent me to an oncologsist who is going to perform a surgery to remove an entire layer of tissue on all of my organs becuase of my debilitating pain. Has anyone had this type of surgery?
