Does anyone else bleed only old blood when on your period?

Everytime I have a period I have noticed that I dont bleed the red blood that I should. I only bleed this dark brown looking blood. Even the blood clots I pass aren't completely red but more brown. My obgyn said that I'm bleeding old blood only. Does anyone else experience this?

Yes! I also experience this. I have been unclear as to why for so long now. Sorry I don't have any answers, but you're not alone in this.
