Hi all. so Its been 10 days since iv had my first laparoscopy done which diagnosed and treated stage 2 endo between my bowel and uterus my period has come today as expected but the cramps are excruciating and the flow is very heavy which was pretty much the norm for me before I went for the surgery but I'm feeling a little disheartened now that maybe the surgery hasn't worked for me. Has anyone else experienced first painful period after laparoscopy. Thanks :)

dont worry hopefully they will get better. From experience my first period after my lap was horrendous. I was bleeding so much that when I went to bathroom I literally sat on the toilet extra time because blood just kept dripping out (sorry I know tmi) but my periods are still heavy but not as bad as that one.

Hi I seen your post. I feel like I needed to share my nolag on what I know about the body. I've been told that after any medical procedure your first period is always a little on the strong side due to the fack your body is cleaning it self. You may want to wait for the next one to know for sure if the surgery had worked. I'm not a doctor but I have some experience in medical field. I hope this help s don't get your hopes up yet. πŸ™‚
