Does anyone else get so exhausted that they feel disconnected from themselves? Lately I'm feeling like things that happen are almost like dreams, and I'm walking around in a state where I feel like I'm just disconnected from myself and from other things. I know that it's also a symptom of my c-ptsd, but I wondered if it's also just the endo brain fog that's making me feel this way? Thanks for reading, guys.

Members connected over the disorienting experience of fatigue-related dissociation, with many sharing that they feel disconnected from themselves, float through days with little recollection, and struggle to distinguish whether symptoms stem from endometriosis, PTSD, or the combination of chronic pain and stress. Several members found relief through mindfulness practices like focused breathing, while others noted that dissociative episodes often worsen during high-pain days or when anxiety is present. A recurring theme was the comfort of knowing they weren't alone in these frightening symptoms and the community's warm support in navigating both the physical and emotional toll of living with endometriosis.

It can't hurt at all! Also please know moat excision specialists have a general surgeon on board for endometriosis in the chest and bowels. Just in case...

I'm not 100% sure if it's the endo, but I have these feelings as well. Days where I float through the day with no recollection of what I've done or what I am trying to do.

I'm trying to do some mindfulness minutes - take a minute & focus on something as simple as breathing. I think it's helping.

To set your mind at ease, many endo excision surgeons have a general surgeon on standby for thoracic and diaphragmatic and endo on the bowels.

Dr. Veronica Lerner takes insurance. I believe Dr. Laurence Orbuch does as well. I will do my best to ask both concerns for you.

If you ever want to talk by phone, I am more than happy to do that.πŸ˜πŸŽ€πŸ’• I think hearing a voice makes us feel better. At least it makes me feel better.

I get that, but I have attributed it more to my ptsd than my endo. Though I think my endo makes it worse, like if I'm having a high pain day and stressed and anxious about that, then I'll have worse dissociative symptoms if that makes sense?
