Hugs. I totally get it. Meds or flare ups make any job hard. You just have to be honest to your boss and honest to yourself on what you can do. Hugs good luck!

That is a thought. As long as they don’t cause significant side effects, like dizziness. The theory is that adhesions/endo are blocking my GI tract and causing intermittent constipation/blockage symptoms and diarrhea. I know it is endo-related because this resolved after my first surgery, for several months. It is so frustrating that there isn’t a specific pill to help with this.

Thank you so much! I will keep these recommendations in mind, for sure. A major source of my stress is my unpredictable bowel spasms during flare ups. I experienced these before my first surgery and they were functionally impairing. That was during grad school, and now I am out in the real world with this major responsibility and they are happening again. :(

And I haven’t looked in to disability yet. I am a nurse practitioner and have patients who depend on me, so that really makes this more stressful.
