I went through “unexplained” infertility for 4 years including an ectopic, a miscarriage, clomid and a failed IUI. I finally ended up with an endometrioma which signaled my Dr that I have Endo. I had a laparoscopy and had it all removed and got pregnant with my daughter not even a month after removal and then got pregnant with my son when my daughter was 1. I’ve been pretty good with no symptoms up until about 6 months ago. There’s definitely hope. I would demand a laparoscopy and if your Dr won’t do it then find another one. I saw a Reproductive Endocrinologist and he was awesome.

If it makes you feel better, only 30% of women with endo have infertility. It’s still not acceptable and too high but I think that’s encouraging. People make it sound far higher... most likely because they are experiencing infertility and want an answer.

I seem to remember that some (all?) o ovulation strips are glitchy with PCOS, so definitely research that. It might be old info that has since been figured out.

Excision surgery helps some women because it really removes it all, if that's an option for you. I do know if you're under 30, they want you to try for a year before they will treat you for infertility (typically). Definitely have PCOS and endo will make it more difficult, but not impossible. I was finally diagnosed w/stage 4 and i conceived 5 times.
