Hi guys,

Just wanting your opinion/advice on my symptoms the last few days. It's been one week since my laparoscopy. Met my surgeon today she was happy with incision. I've been feeling weak, fluey, achy and just crap all day. I had chills and was freezing earlier so got the heating on hot water bottle out and jumped into bed. Had a hot bath and it helped a bit. Got into bed and after a while felt too hot. My housemate said I've no colour in my face. Sunday I was weak and nauseous most the day… read more

I had my laparoscopy almost 3 weeks ago now and I just now am feeling a little normal. My doc told me everybody has a different experience with post surgery depending on how intense the endo and surgery was. During my post op I had on and off nausea, extreme pain and soreness and I did feel flu like. I had aches, nausea, some chills and muscle spasms. I would keep an eye on it just to make sure it doesn’t lead to any infections! My post op recovery was way more rough and intense then I expected. Hang in there and don’t be afraid to call your doc with any concerns! Hope you get better soon 😊

I've felt that way post op. The laparscopy can mess with your hormones, so it's possible it's just that. Did you discuss that with your surgeon?
