A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi Ladies:

Has anyone here been on Lupron Depot HRT treatment. If so any side effects? Is it helping?

I've been on Orilissa, the pill form of Lupron, and had horrible joint pain, headaches, nausea, complete loss of appetite, in addition to my usual endo symptoms. From my research, orilissa is a "toned down" version of Lupron, so I cannot imagine what my side effects would have been on that. I would watch YouTube videos also of others reviewing Lupron and Orilissa.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Thank you so much for the info above. My gyn surgeon wanted me to go on Orlissa originally, regretfully couldn’t get it approved via insurance. Insurance did approve the Lupron. It has been 15 days since my first injection. So far, horrible hot flashes, increased pelvic pain and muscle aches/joint pain. My gyn wants me to give it time, which I am doing 🙏
