Bowel Endo And Bowel Movements?

I have found that having a BM is extremely painful but once it is "let out" the pain is reduced. Is this typical of bowel endo?

I have endo on my bowel. For me, it's intense pain for hours until I finally go to the bathroom and then it's reduced. It feels like if you've ever had food poisoning diarrhea cramps, the extremely painful ones.

Yep, have had that issue for years, which is one reason my dr thought a colostomy bag may be in my future.

It definitely could cause that sort of pain. Especially if you have adhesions.

Holy Macaroni! It's expensive. There is a program I found while researching Amitiza that if you qualify, the cost for 30 pills is $50 per month. There are other programs as well.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member, take a dose of Miralax daily. It works wonders and is very gentle.
