I also live in southern virginia and i recently had excision surgery with Dr. Kongoasa at the Center for Restorative Reproductive Surgery in Atlanta, Ga and even though it was out of state it was the best choice i could have made, my surgery went great plus he is an amazing surgeon. Also, my OB/GYN had initially suggested the Jones Institute which is in the norfolk area but i am not sure that they perform excision for endo and i was more concerned they would focus on infertility. And in the DC area there is the Center for Innovative Gyn care which does excision for endo!

BriWarrior24, they are treating me for endo and i have no desire getting pregnant right now lol. I thought just like you at first and apparently they do specialize in endo and the excision surgery as well as pain managment with meds.

But wouldn't that be just for the infertility side of it or do they specialize in excision and pain management as well?

I see Dr Lee in Chesapeake she's been the best one I've found, she did my laparoscopy and removed my endometrial growths, I had about 40 spots through my lower abdomen. She diagnosed me with endometriosis and the reason I was able to have my one and only son. Supposedly she's one of the most skilled robotic surgeons in the area.
