I’ve had a laparoscopy 10 years ago at the age of 20 and been on the pill ever since to prevent my endo (9 cm) from coming back. Recently, I went from Brevicon, to Lolo and now Marvelon which is causing some breakthrough bleeding during intercourse, spotting, heavier period, and intense breast tenderness. I asked my doctor to put me back on Brevicon since it had a lot less side effects (hair thinning and unstable cortisol level) but unfortunately it is back ordered at the moment. You should have had ultra sound every three month keeping track of it.

Hey Ashley,
I had mine diagnosed while on vacation in Lebanon since it was misdiagnosed in Canada, my home country. I went on my own without any reference to get an ultrasound, the tech freaked out and told me to get it removed ASAP. I then checked in at a General Surgeon’s clinic and was scheduled for a surgery the next day. Not sure how the health system works in the USA.
