Can breakthrough bleeding be mild or heavy on 3d month of birth control and can full on period be considered breakthrough bleeding

For me, I had breakthough bleeding maybe half a year into using birth control to treat endo. My doctor ordered an ultrasound for me to see if the uterine lining was getting too thin. Everything looked fine for me, but the lining was on the thinner side, so he ordered estrogen pills for me to take at the same time as the birth control for 30 days.

By the way, I should mention that I was taking birth control without the placebo pills for about 3 months when this happened.

Hope this helps!

I wish I knew. My bleeding is so irregular I don't know what normal is anymore. I would say to check with your doc. I hope you get some answers and some relief. Vent anytime.
