it made me feel disoriented. i felt v little difference in the nerve pain i have in my thighs and pelvis after like 3 days then i upped my dosage since i thought it would help more, but i stopped taking it since it didnt help as much as i wanted it to and i felt like i was taking way too much for me to not really feel any better. maybe it will work better for u though. just make sure to test it out one day in the morning before u take it on any day u have to be functional in society lol. the spacey symptom started as soon as i started taking it.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member, I took gabapentin for four days and refused to take it again. I'm okay with my low dose of Lyrica.

Gabapentin did help me with pain within about a week but unfortunately it causes a lot of side effects, it made me feel very sedated and drugged and then I had lung issues from it. Lyrica was better but you absolutely can't drink any alcohol while taking it, and you also can't skip doses once you're on a higher level dose since it can cause withdrawal. I would watch very carefully for any side effects from gabapentin & switch to Lyrica or another nerve med if you have any issues with it

It's an updated version of gabapentin with fewer side effects. It doesn't bother me.at all.
