Having a consult tomorrow with an endo surgeon… any tips?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member said:

Make sure your surgeon performs excision surgery instesd of simply cauterizing to remove the endonetriosis implants. Endometriosis grows beneath the surface, so gold standard for endometriosis removal is excision. Cauterizatuon of endometriosis implants will not reach beneat the tissue, and endometriosis will be left behind.

Make a list of on going and new symptoms as well as your comfort preferences meds wise.
Prepare after procedure, care instruction related questions as well. Also ask for new guidelines, restrictions, and preventative measures regarding covid. Good luck.
