I need to be on birth control to regulate my cycles. Otherwise I will bleed for months. But I want to become pregnant. I've tried Provera to regulate my cycles, but my depression/ anxiety went through the roof while I was on that. Has anyone experienced the prolonged bleeding and found a way to stop it without birth control? Did you find a doctor that helped you achieve pregnancy?

I second what Leslie says. Ive been on Norethindrone for the last 4 years after almost 2 months if nonstop bleeding on Duavee. Its progesterone. Ive tried 6 different burth controls before i was on that and its been the one that has worked the best. Only thing to discuss with your doctor is high bad cholesterol, it increased my LCD but I was receiving the Orilissa injections as well. Regarding pregnancy, not sure what your options are but i was told by my doctor that Norethindrone could be taken while undergoing IVF. I no longer have that option but maybe it’ll be right for you. I found a great set of doctors in NY. Dr. Tamer Seckin and Dr. Karli Goldstein from the Endometriosis Foundation.

I use prescriped norethindrone to stop the bleeding, but was told by my surgeon that it does not protect against pregnancy. As far as affecting the pregnancy if you became pregnant im not sure, but this has been the only way for me to stop the everyday bleeding.
