Also wanted to know what happen after first laparoscopy did most of you get confirmed diagnosis of endo
I did get a confirmed diagnosis. I had one large endo spot the first time and signifcant adhesions from my intestines to by abdominal wall. My second excision/laproscopy found even more endometriosis in the cul de sac area behind my uterus and a cyst right by my left ovary.
For me they could tell during the lap and told me as soon as I woke up which, as strange as it sounds, was a huge relief just to know I wasn’t crazy and there was something really wrong. It can take a couple weeks to get the full report but by that time you’re recovering anyway so should focus on that! Good luck with your diagnosis, I know it can be so hard
My doctor felt mine during an anal exam. Very rare. But when i did my lap they confirmed to my husband that it was endo and sent to pathology to ensure it was nothing else. Pathology usually taks about a week.
oh goodness I am glad he had the sense that to stay overnight to keep you safe because he saw that you were getting lightheaded. I gotcha I just wasnt sure because my husband was making comments about his friends wife had the hysterectomy and she was fine due to helped her endo. But I get that I dont want any more kids but that is a radical decision to make at this moment without getting a confirmed diagnosis because it could be endo with other things such as pcs. So I would just want to have them look around and confirm any diagnosis or if it is multiple things you know.
oh wow! Yea that is something I am not sure yet they tell me that its going to be outpatient that I should not be staying overnight but can they really say that not knowing what they are going to find or what stage it would be. So you just decided to do the hysterectomy because of the bleeding or did you have any laps?
