Kidney Issues On Orillisa?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone been prescribed Orillisa and had unexplained kidney pain? Im trying to rule out if it is the medication or not. I have a history of recurring ureter endometriosis so im worried about that as well. Going to my obgyn on Wednesday.

I've been on Orilissa for about a year and a half (maybe 2 years). I did Lupron and other birth control options and nothing helped. Orilessa hasn't eradicated the pain, but has brought it down to being somewhat manageable. I did have to go off it for a little while as my old insurance stopped covering it, and within abotu 3 weeks debilitating pain was back.

We don't know enough about Orilissa yet. It absolutely does not work long-term for endometriosis and has the same side effects as Lupron.

What dosage have you both taken? Im on 150mg and it hasnt helped with pain at all. My obgyn wants to try me on 200mg twice a day or start lupron. (I have a mirena iud as well) Im having a pelvic US soon to see if something else is going on. Thank you for your responses. You all are wonderful.
