Hello ladies, I am 1.5 weeks post lap… how long did it take for your belly to go down (or away!?)? I am quite careful about anti-inflammatory foods and am on a post op supplement protocol under an ND. I am about 5lbs lighter than preop despite being ravenously hungry and constantly eating (apparently post op recovery speeds up your metabolism) and my belly has reduced in size but is bigger than I’d hoped still. You might also have sibo or another form of gut dysbiosis. Common in people with endo and can be really difficult to treat with meds. Long term treatment involves changing diet and being super vigilant about it. ❤️

Up to 6 months for surgery related inflammation to down for excision surgery. For ablation, not sure as it involves burning your insides which creates more inflammation.

My stomach took a few months, almost 6 months but it lost shape, it just doesnt look the same
