As it is an inflammatory disease, a lot can affect the inflammation, such as hormone levels. I was wondering if anyone has had dietary changes or other natural and homeopathic methods that have made a difference to them?
I’m easing off dairy and that’s helping.
I’ve cut out gluten and lactose from my diet as I found when I eat it I have more pain! I also try not to eat to much red meat. I’ve found these changes to make a bit of a difference!
I had significant improvements in my symptoms with various remedies from my naturopath, and did a lot of work on my gut. I found the low FODMAP diet helped, and then i transitioned to the diet recommended by Katie Edmonds, “heal endo”… she has a book (and very helpful website). My naturopath had me do a comprehensive stool analysis and that helped us target what was missing and what was in excess in my gut, rather than guessing… it made a big difference. Acupuncture can be helpful for some people as well with inflammation!
