Anyone experienced either ear infections or mouth ulcers that they didn't have prior to Visanne?

Second month on Visanne. I can't tell what is what anymore. I keep going through different things and I have no idea whether it's triggered by Visanne or not. It's so frustrating. You feel very lost! But I currently feel like different parts of me are malfunctioning all at the same time. One day I have an ear infection, the other day a mouth ulcer, the other day insomnia, the next day it's body… read more

Hello.
I think the side effects of the medication vary.
I get insomnia too.
And have urticaria/hives.
Constant anxiety.
Some days my joints and body aches I can't move.
And I have endobelly, it's lasted weeks now.
I look pregnant and it's affected my self esteem.
I've been spotting every day since 20th December when I started taking Visanne, and the discharge is either dark brown, or looks like pus, and occasional small clots.
It's so overwhelming like, I'm just glad for a community like this.
Walking this journey with people that get it goes a long way.
I love you guys ❤️😭.
On God, y'all are amazing.

Hello
I just experienced the mouth ulcers this week and you can’t imagine how panicked I was on top of the insomnia I’ve been having. This is also my second month on visanne and I can pretty much say I’ve never felt so lost before. I’m getting more and more depressed with each day that goes by!! I’m new here and hoping to find some kind of comfort.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate it! Yes, It's very overwhelming and the side effects and uncertainty take a toll on your mental health and keeps testing your patience. I agree - being here helps a lot. I feel less alone in this journey and the ability to share my experience, listen to others and support the Endo community makes adds more meaning and purpose to the whole journey. Sending you love xo

Thank you for sharing your experience ♥️ It's a tough journey with all the side effects. It gets confusing too. I hope you're feeling better now and recovering well xo

Been on Visanne from last year beginning of February after the surgery. About to get off it soon (end of February). Ear pain symptoms only subsided not too long ago to be honest - they were constant, on and off. Also, there were some 4 months I was off of it - couldn't get it. My symptoms are up and down at the moment - I am in pain (stomach and I had symptoms like IBS the past 2 days and tailbone pains). But yes, could be because I went off it for about 4 months.

Since the entire journey, I've had constant on and off pains. I think only the first 2 months, in recovery after surgery, I didn't have the normal Endometriosis pains (stomach cramps, headaches and so on.) Perhaps I didn't get the normal pains because I was contending with the surgery recovery pains - not too sure.
