Hi everyone
Really frustrated lately with the lack of options available for those of us that have bodies that don't respond to pain medication. In example, after my last surgery, morphine did absolutely nothing to alleviate my pain. Meds given for post surgery did NOTHING to help me. The only thing that has worked a tad is Dilaudid (hydromorphone). It was the strongest medicine available in the entire hospital I was at and I needed 3 doses just to dull my pain! I’m also on dilaudid for the unbearable days, but I hate taking it. I’ve been on medical marijuana which helps, but I go to sleep after. My daughter wakes up from cramps, and she takes Naproxen with two Benadryl tablets.
