Janet, TENS unit is a wearable device that sends electrical pulses to help with pain. If you search online “tens unit for endo” lots of options come up. I am not sure how helpful it really is, but I am going to try to get one covered by insurance to see if it helps with the pain.

Thank you so much Kaley! I have a follow up next month and will bring it up to my Dr! I agree I’m so used to just not saying anything especially with my first obgyn, the medical gaslighting is real. Thank you so much for sharing I appreciate it!

What is TENS??

I have had 5 cycles now since my lap-ex surgery last June (I was on norethindrone for about 5 months after my surgery for suppression). I have had very heavy flow for 3days with each period making me dizzy, weak, it’s been terrible. I had a f/u with my surgeon and he ordered tranexamic acid to take during my period for heavy bleeding. I just started my cycle so this is my first time trying it but hoping it helps. I was reluctant to report back to my Dr because like I’m sure all of you, I have a history of being told things are fine (when they don’t feel fine). I am so thankful my surgeon always listens and takes me seriously. He also ordered a repeat US to see if my endometrioma has returned. 🙄 Here’s hoping that is not the case.

He also recommend TENS unit for my pain. I have not tried that yet.

I just encourage everyone to keep reporting symptoms that are interrupting your life. There are treatment options and if you’re not being given options, get another opinion. I believe there are providers out there to help, we have to keep speaking up and seeking out the right healthcare support system. I hope your symptoms get better soon! 💜

It’s been 5 weeks today 24 March but I still have the pain on my lower left pelvic. Nothing when I’m laying down or sitting but when standing or walking above 20-30 mins I feel like heavy on that side or after eating.
Anyway I’m still hoping the my body will go back to normal again.
