I am only 28 years old, but I've been experiencing hot flushes for close to the whole day. I can't excise, I can't do the laundry, I can't even walk up my drive way or go to the grocery store without feeling like I can't breathe and break out in an uncontrollable sweat. I've also started to lose weight and my hair. I have also been getting severe joint pain in my knees, wrists, elbows, and ankles. I also have started getting acne, and my eczema is at its peak. I've been on Vissane for 3 months but my gyno said that the side effects should stop after a month
I've been on Vissane for about 1.5-2months so far and I struggle with severe depression. My moods are quite uncontrollable and I find myself super emotional throughout the day. I'm exploring laproscopic surgery because I don't think I can handle being on this hormone pill any longer.
I was on vissane for close to a year, it gives me brain fog, losing my memory, like someone who has dementia. I told my doctor this drug makes me dumb, he just brushed it off. I had nonstop light bleeding but no period too. It did help my pain but not enough, the doc switched me to depo provera which caused bone loss.
Everybody react to med differently. Talk to your doc, there are other options.
I’m currently on Vissane, been taking it for 3 weeks and haven’t had any major symptoms other than bleeding for over 10 days (not heavy bleeding). I have noticed that my symptoms have started to improve, so I’m going to give it a fair shot since I’ve only recently been diagnosed and didn’t know what endo was before my diagnosis.
Hi Selene, I've been on Vissane for 5 months now, the only symptoms I've experienced which i can relate is the hair loss, but I've gained weight since I've been on Vissane. I understand why you feel that Vissane is not working I've also felt it's useless to be on it because it doesn't help with the pain. I would say follow your gut, but i also don't want to say stop the pil. I hope it makes sense what I'm saying ☺️
