Wondering if anyone had has experience with Secken Endometriosis Center & if it was worth the extra cost involved since they are out of network with all insurances.
Yes. They will work with your insurance to do a single case rate agreement and if approved, surgery will be billed at in network level. Also get a prior authorization from your insurance. To get prior authorization, your insurance will need supporting documents such as reports from your imaging test (cat scan, mri) and the dr office will send over why surgery is needed and some other info on the dr. For your first appt, it’s about $800-$900, but that covers your follow-up appts, ultrasounds that are done in the office, etc. I’ve heard you can also speak with your insurance about them covering this or some portion of this payment. Ask any and everything beforehand. Make sure you stay on top of the insurance company AND the doctors office. Follow-up, follow-up. Be persistent. Advocate.
