I haven’t had a hysterectomy but Laproscopy yesss and two weeks before my lap I had emergency surgery..my story is crazy how fast & unpredictable Endo is.. say I think the problem is is that people are constantly sharing information that their her surgery wasn’t that rough and they were OK after a week that’s not realistic that’s not what really happens and especially if you had stage four Endo and then you said you got a hysterectomy on top of it so that’s even more but just even stage for Endo and how much work the surgeon hast to do to remove all the lesions and everything out of you is major major surgery. They still say that it’s minor but it’s major it took me 3 1/2 months to heal from both of them to finally feel OK to get back to work.I’m not gonna bs or sugarcoat it.. not easy & it’s not the way that a lot of people / people that write these articles about it.make it out to be a breeze after a week & it’s no problem..can go back to normal life asap ummm nooo absolute not.. especially stage 4 endo removal.. it’s major surgery even though they still classify it as min surgery.. remember, every Endo worrier experiences things differently. Not one of our stories is the exact same, but very similar and now you have people that can relate to how you’re actually feeling so yes, it’s very normal to be feeling those things I don’t know. I feel like the first few days like it was rough, but it was easier though because of what was to comes. I hope and pray that you are feeling good and that amazing after both of those surgeries…but no, that’s not the real version of the healing process of lab surgery and a hysterectomy takes a while and I don’t know who told her you be OK from both of those after a week… much love endo sis! I’m here if you have any questions or whatever I can do to help!!

Like everyone said ask your Dr, but based on my laparoscopy expirience I wasn’t getting up and moving enough during recovery,on the other hand you could be overdoing it. Definitely check in with your Dr though

I would definitely call and ask, it actually took me a couple of months to fully recover but I had several other procedures done aswell. Here's the list
Procedure:
Diagnostic laparoscopy
Laparoscopic adhesiolysis
Chromopertubation
Left salpingotomy
Left ovarian cystectomy
Excision of endometriosis right uterosacral ligament and right pelvic sidewal.

It's definitely not fun. My left leg would go numb sitting in a chair every day for months. I also had restless leg with the same leg at night trying to sleep. It could be the anesthetic but it could be something else. My stomach felt like it was on fire for a long time after the surgery aswell. So I would definitely just make sure it's normal with the Dr. Everyone heals differently. Sending extra prayers and positive vibes your way🖤
