Metformin For Endo

I’ve been told Metformin helps women with PCOS if they are trying to conceive. I have 2 friends that were prescribed it and helped them. I’m wondering if anyone who has Endo has tried Metformin to help with their infertility. Was it successful in pregnancy, systems, etc

I asked my doctor about prescribing metformin for endo, she said it’s not helpful for endo and is rarely prescribed for pcos. I’d be interested in trying it if there’s any doctor willing to prescribe it.
