Should I Be Concerned About A Fall After Laproscopy?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had a laproscopy to diagnose/remove endo tissue mid October 23. I just fell skiing on Jan 13th and started spotting/light bleeding on the 15th only 5 days after my period (which had lasted 13 days). Should I be concerned or am I jumping to conclusions? My right ovarie area is really hurting.

I had my laparoscopy in September 2023 and shortly after had my period which seemed to flare up the tissue removal spots. I also have primarily right side ovary pain as well. My doctor has recommend I take some form of progesterone birth control to prevent my body from having a period so I have less flare ups. I am on the progesterone pills, needing to take 3 a day to prevent my period since my oestrogen levels are very high. I am not sure if its something that you shouldn't be completely concerned or not concerned about because I have definitely had my concerns with the pain and can definitely get frustrated when I present my concerns to doctors and they can't help in any way further than what they have recommend for my age so far. So if you are not against it maybe look into birth control with your doctor cause it is definitely helping ease some of my symptoms, on top of that I take pain killers and use heating pads, another product I just got into is Ease, its a magnesium spray that has been tested on women with Endo and it is suppose to help your pain if you use it for 30+ days. But definitely do the research on all of what I have recommend since what works for me may not work for you. I hope you have some relief very soon <3

You may need to take something for pain and heating pad if you’re feeling additional pain. I pray you’re ok
