I am so frustrated that women have to have a hysterectomy or ovaries removed and destroy our reproductive organs or get rid of our reproductive organs as just a treatment option and not a cure I pray that in the future they find a cure for endometriosis also being on hormones for the past five years I’ve really done a number on my body mentally physically and emotionally…

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member, a hysterectomy AKA CASTRATION is the incorrect way to treat endometriosis.
That ignorant, trained OBGYNs think this is correct burns me!!
First thing they tell u is to get rid of your ovaries (which immediately sets you into menopause) or get on birth control (doesnt help) or if u don't have kids to hurry up and get pregnant (Are u kidding me?) at this point I'm convinced they are making ish up as they go
