I was on Orilissa for 2 years. It helped tremendously! I didn’t have any flare ups while I was on it. The only thing I didn’t like was knowing you can only be on it for 2 years because it causes bone density loss. I still had a period (but no flare ups), and I did not have menopause symptoms. Crazy how everyone’s bodies are so different! ♥️ hope this helps.

Glad to hear it helped you, Isabelle! And great to hear it was afforable. @A MyEndometriosisTeam Member - it's for chronic endo pain; it drastically lowers your estrogen levels.

I took Orilissa for about 5 months (stopped it so I could try to get pregnant) in 2022. It basically puts you in chemical menopause so all those fun menopause symptoms like hot flashes can show up. It helped me since it stopped my periods and that’s the main time I got severe pain at that point. I know they said I had to be mindful about calcium and vitamin d since it can affect your bone density. Also it was very affordable once they got a pre-authorization! Hope if you end up on it it helps you!
