Has Anyone Else Gotten Relief From Endo Pain/flare Ups By Changing Their Diet?
When I came off Orilissa (I was on it for 2 years) I was SO afraid to go through the pain of having another endo flare up that I completely changed my diet. I haven’t had a flare up since stopping the medication. I keep waiting for it to happen…I still have bad cramps and pain, but not a full blown FLARE UP. Has this happened to anyone else?
The main changes I’ve made is cutting out all processed (inflammation inducing) foods the week prior to my period and during my period. I only eat whole, unprocessed, inflammation reducing, foods during that time.
I came off Orilissa because 2 years is the max I could be on it with the dosage I was taking. It causes bone density loss, so 2 years is the max.
It’s nice to hear you’ve also noticed changes after cutting out some processed foods! ♥️
I haven't gotten off Visanne completely, but the times I've not taken it for a while (because I couldn't find it in the chemists) the pain has gotten worse. Dramatically reducing wheat, meat and dairy + adding supplements has made a big difference for reducing/reducing the intensity of flare ups.
Curious what changes you've made to your diet, and why you came off Orilissa.
