Yes been on dienogest for 9 months now. The first few months can be difficult with continuous spotting. also i feel like mood swings are constant. But I have been painfree for the first time in my life without taking pain killers. So would say it is a good short term solution.
Thank you
Ok thanks only on day 2 so early days yet . Just can’t do laparoscopy at moment as can’t be out of action for any amount of time due to being a carer .
Just remember if you have side effects go to your primary doctor who prescribed it there are a few things that they can suggest to help.Remember that dienogest is not a contraceptive as the other 2 you mentioned is. I could never take one of those as a option since I have bloodclot problems in my family so it was safer for me to start with the dienogest. Good luck I truely hope it works for you and just give your body time to adapt to the new medicine I hope you don’t start bleeding on it as I know how exhausting and emotionally draining it can be.
Thanks tookfirst pull tonight but worried by all the side effects . My other option was the new tablet ryeqo but that also had side effects . I was on cerelle which stopped all my bleeding as it was always really heavy so worried about bleeding again . I have 6months to decide if it’s for me
