I was diagnosed with an endometrioma. I’ve heard that typically means a more advanced stage of endometriosis. Has anyone had this experience?

Thank you so much for this information. My follow up ultrasound showed that the mass was still there, with slight changes. Due to the severity of my symptoms, my doctor is scheduling surgery. Thank you for the prayers and vibes! ❤️

Endometrioma normally means that you have cysts developing either in the ovaries or where they can collect all the endometrial tissue of liquid. Advanced stage depends on the severity of what your specialist discovered in a laparoscopy procedure and the extent of your endometriosis and possibly adenomyosis.
Sending you positive vibes your way and prayers for answers to find some relief.
