I was diagnosed at 16 with endo. I have had 4 laprascopics, 2 ablations, 5 pregnancies, 3 live birth, mirena and birth control pills. I am now on Slynd and I am having moderate pain with sex, also after sex and with bm. My gyno said that my only option is a hysterectomy at this point. The women in my family have had hysterectomies and have not had good success afterwards. Are there any other options that anyone has found helpful? Try pelvic floor physical therapy. It has made all the difference for low back pain and pain with penetration. I saw someone licensed as a midwife and trained in Holistic Pelvic Care. I think she focused more on helping to release tension in my pelvic muscles and also guiding me through correcting my retroverted uterus which appeared to be the cause of back pain.
