Oh I forgot about fennel tea I don’t know if you’ve tried that but that helps with bloating as well!

I have endo around the intestine and bowel which causes a lot of bowel symptoms for me and pain. That is almost worse sometimes than the pelvic pain. :/
Sorry you’re dealing with it too .

The only things I’ve found that kind of help with the bowel symptoms is magnesium and pineapple juice .

Can panic attacks occur during bowel movements with endometriosis?

Yes, it's possible to experience a panic attack while having a bowel movement, especially when dealing with bowel endometriosis. The severe pain and distress associated with bowel movements can trigger anxiety and panic responses.

Bowel endometriosis can cause extremely painful bowel movements, which is one of its hallmark symptoms. When endometrial tissue grows on or infiltrates the bowel, it responds to hormonal changes during your cycle, leading to inflammation and pain.

The intense physical symptoms can include:
- Severe stabbing or cramping pain
- Nausea and vomiting
- Feeling faint or dizzy
- Sweating and chills

These physical sensations can overlap with or trigger panic attack symptoms like rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, and overwhelming fear. The anticipation of pain can also create anxiety that builds into panic.

A MyEndometriosisTeam member shared: "Yesterday was a pretty bad day. I was having a bowel episode and actually became sick while on the toilet."

If you're experiencing panic attacks related to bowel movements, it's important to discuss this with your healthcare provider. They can help address both the physical pain through endometriosis treatment and the anxiety component through appropriate support or therapy.
