Had surgery and mine returned. Damaged appendix plus cyst & tumor on ovary plus endo on bowl, cul de sac, and paracolic region. Super nervous and sad.

I had a second surgery. It had all grown back, sadly. There is a 50% chance of regrowth of the endometriosis.

Unfortunately, I know mine has returned again.

Did they biopsy your appendix?
What kind of scope?
I had endoscopy and colonoscopy. Only showed minor gastritis. I didnt think endometriosis could be seen on those tests?

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I had my appendix removed during my first endo surgery (laparoscopy). I've had a scope (non-surgical imaging) done just to see if there were any more endo growth. They found nothing. I just had some incision pain after surgery (appendix removal) but otherwise I feel fine without it. I don't think it's affecting me to be without it.
