I have an upcoming surgery to complete excision and hysterectomy [leaving ovaries]. I'm getting nervous for it, it feels like a massive surgery. Also, my mother has a history of hysterectomy post-menopause followed by diagnosis with uterine cancer and treatment in the last 5 years.

I had hyst with excision 6 months ago. Best decision ever. The only thing that held me back from doing it sooner was that I wanted 1 baby. I know some people can hesitate because it changes the pelvic structure. But if your quality of life is already gone I don't think maintaining normal pelvic anatomy is worth living with crazy pain. I had confirmed adeno, very visible on MRI
