Hi!! Ive had endo for a while but the past few months Ive been dealing with daily fevers as well, its usually accompanied with a lot of pain too. I think its an uncommon symptom of endo but I was wondering if any of our communtity has that issue as well. If you have any advice too, that would be appreciated <3
Hi!! Yeah I record them, usually around 99°F to 102°F ( low grade to more high grade ) I dont think its menopausal symptoms but its a possibility, also I tried talking to my healthcare providers but they didnt take me seriously :( Thanks for telling me your experiences and opening my mind to more possibilities!! :)
Are daily fevers a symptom you're experiencing with endometriosis?
While fever isn't typically listed as a common endometriosis symptom, it's important to take this seriously. Daily fevers accompanied by significant pain could indicate something that needs medical attention, such as an infection or another complication.
Are they actual fevers (are you taking your temperature? is your temp elevated <2°F?) or are you just really hot (possible hot flash.) Before I got my official diagnosis, I had hot flashes in my 30s due to my hormonal imbalance & fluctuations. They would often announce an imminent migraine ("Take meds NOW!!!"). I was teaching at that time & most of my students were older women who were all ' you're too young to have hot flashes....' The other possibility if not true fever is that fertile women have a basal body temp increase in anticipation of fertilization. Once you enter the luteal phase, basal body temp drops. If not these things, see a doctor/ ask during regular gyno or GP visit.
