I wanted to ask a few questions about some concerns I have about @@Lupron injections. I've had pelvic pain for over ten years, and I was officially diagnosed with stage 3-4 endometriosis last year at 26 after three years of pelvic floor dysfunction. I had significant large endometriomas on my right ovary, some damage to my left, endo on my ligaments, some on my bladder, and endo on my cul-de-sac. My gyno who is an endometriosis specialist put me on a combined… read more
Have a left endometrioma 9cm. Am currently on Aygestin in the hopes of shrinking it somewhat before surgery in about 2 months. I
Will loose the ovary and have a hysterectomy due to
Heavy bleeding. I was diagnosed with Endo in 2003 during lap. And also did Ivf. I am fine with these procedures as I am 43 and done having kids. But I am scared to death or the surgery. Any thoughts or experience?
I had my first diagnostic laparoscopy March 2016 which gave me pain relief for about 2 months. I have tried many different hormonal suppression therapies since surgery. Depo x2 months, then aygestin + femara, then aygestin + lupron.. now OCPs .. possible Mirena IUD to come soon. The pain comes and goes as well as menses. Despite all of those therapies, is it still possible for endo to come back so quickly? ...With vengeance?!

I got an endometrioma removed abt 11 weeks ago, i missed two periods then i started spotting 8 weeks post op then got heavy clotty periods for the past 2 weeks. My doc prescribed Letrozole for estrogen supression. I have been on it 9 days and have been experiencing fullness in my ovaries and uterus. They are very swollen and tender, they fell like they are going to pop. I couldn't sleep due to the pain and barely made it through my work day. My mood has also been effected and I have been more depressed. I called my doctor and they offered to switch to Ayegestin, but its up to me. Has anyone experienced a decrease in side effects with Letrozole? I don't want to… read more

I took this for 6 months previous to my first ever Laparoscopy in August 2015, now since the first laparoscopy I have been fine and got told not to continue with the Norethisterone but then since August 2016, my periods have been lasting 2 days then 2 days nothing then back to 2-3 days and due this time I've been in excruciating pain, and when I have been wiping, it's just dried, brown blood!
I'm going to be booking in an appointment with my doctor again, obviously I've moved house… read more
