Sleeping
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been finding that if I sleep in a position where my legs are tucked up it starts my pain off.
Same as if I wear trousers that cut in when I'm sat, I find that my pains flare up.
I've been reluctant to mention this to gynea incase they think there's another issue

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member

It's fine, I think I've always known to be honest. the biggest issue for me is how much of my bowel I may loose.

I'm Havent Been Diagnosed With Endo, But I Am 90% Sure I Have It. What Are Your Personal Symptoms?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I haven't been diagnosed, but as I said I am very sure I have it. My doctor refuses to do testing even though I have
1 - had a c-section which caused a major amount of tissue
2- it runs in my immideate family
3- I have constant pelvic pain which radiates into sharp pains at least 3 times a day.
4- I have had a "cyst" on my ovaries for over 6 months now
5- I can't get pregnant.

I am very concerned about this as I know how much my family is in pain because of this and how many… read more

Laparoscopy No.1
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was just wondering if it's normal to have had a laparoscopy and some adhesions cut away from the bowel and abdominal wall and NOT be diagnosed with endo by the surgeon? I had this in oct 2014 but he said it was just adhesions, he couldn't tell me what they were but said they weren't in the right place for endo. I've since read endo can affect you pretty much anywhere! This is why I'm unsure about having another op like my dr recommends... Is it worth the time off??

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member

Really? I didn't know that they had to test it! Thank you so much,
I'll be calling my gp today. Maybe another laparoscopy is a good idea after all

Need On Advice On Medication Vs Endometriosis Symptoms
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi guys,

I really need some advice as I feel like i'm at the end of tether. I'll try keep it brief.I was diagnosed with PCOS 8 years ago and Endometrosis just over three years ago, had my first lap and endo was removed from both ovaries, stage 3. Was doing well for about a year and half with the endo/PCOS. Then periods went a bit off, gained weight, became a bit depressed. This is a time when I was away travelling and should have been having the time of my life, I went back and forward to the… read more
