Hello🦋 yesterday I saw my gynecologist and she decided to switch my pill to Provera because I’ve been experiencing a lot of lower abdominal pain. If you’ve used Provera what was your experience with it?
Thank you!
I just started mini pill for same reason, if it doesn't ease my pain Depo Prevera is next. Hang in there.
I'm about to start the Depo shot and elagolix when my insurance approved it. How did you guys react to it? What side effects did you have? Anything I should know beforehand? This is the first time I've had a doctor actually try to do something. Also getting a laparoscopy in a few months.
Depo was the worst thing I could of done for my body. First shot in April, Started heaving bleeding two weeks later. The pain was unbearable. It’s August and I am still bleeding. I haven’t had a non… read more
What are some of your experiences coming of depo? Should I be prepared to go on yet another ride? Lol
How have you faired using the mirena despite having had bad experiences with oral contraceptive pills and visanne. Also post laparoscopy placement?
I've been on the depo provera shot for a year and a half. The first year I had no issues and now I'm in so much pain in my pelvis and hips, and have severe low back pain. Dr said I had a UTI but took antibiotics and I still have cloudy urine, pain going up my back and in my lower abdomen. Never had pain peeing or burning. Has anyone experienced any of this?
It's been seven years and I'm still not back down to my size I was before depo.
Hi everyone,
So I just got off my Depo Provera about 2 weeks ago and I noticed I’m started to actually bleed again (spotting.) Is this normal? Anyone who has been on Depo, how long did it take for you to start a period again?
I’m a little excited (not for the pain!) just because I’m wondering if my body is just acting fast and I could essentially be ovulating? TTC :)
My gyno perscribed this for my endometriosis but after doing some research it seems intense.
What are some of the side effects?
I've been on Visanne since May. But I've been taking it on and off since I've been diagnosed and after my surgery. At first I would take it gladly since I'd rather experience any of its side effects… read more
Visanne has been effective on me in terms of stopping my period and I don’t experience the excruciating pain anymore. In terms of side efffects, I get tired easily and I get occasional mild headaches. I told my doctor about a concern on the cost of visanne and that it is not covered by my insurance. She actually told me that it is okay to stop taking visanne and that I can shift to depo provera since my recent blood and hormones tests all came normal.
I took visanne for 7months. I’ve been off… read more
