Abdominal wall endo

Abdominal wall endo

Does anyone on here have endo in the abdominal wall / rectus muscle after c section? I really need some advice. So much pain the last couple weeks. I have tried hormone therapy and hate it. I elected not to have it removed as I don't want mesh. Don't know what other options are available. Hoping to get a second opinion somewhere that they specialize in this. Thank you!

What's a good semi-portable Heating pad?

What's a good semi-portable Heating pad?

Hi ladies,
I'm looking for a good heating pad that's electric (or battery operated) and I can unplug and it be hot for a long time, that velcros around my waist. Any suggestions?
I have an awesome hot water bottle but it's not really practical to walk around with it on.
Thanks in advance !

ThermaCare heat wraps come in two different sizes and last for up to 16 hours. You can get them at cvs or walgreens, but they are cheapest at Walmart.

Ovary pain

Ovary pain

It's been almost a year now that I have been having pain on/around my right ovary. Ultrasound and all other tests were normal, so the next step is a Laparoscopy. My doctor highly recommends the surgery, but the cost seems a bit excessive! For all you ladies who have had a laparoscopy, was it what actually diagnosed the endo?? And was… read more

Heating pad

Heating pad

I've used an electric and microwave heating pad extensively to deal with endometriosis pain in my low back. Now the skin in that area is darker and blotchy. Is this something to be concerned about?

Anyone not taking medication to treat Endo?

Anyone not taking medication to treat Endo?

Hello,
I’m sure this question has been asked before, but I’m wondering how many of you chose not to take birth control or other hormones once diagnosed and how is your pain? I’m 37 and was just diagnosed this March when they found a Endometrioma in my left ovary. Unfortunately the Endometrioma was also a borderline tumor so I elected to have the ovary removed as well. Except for one tiny spot, I had no other lesions at the time of my second surgery in May.

I noticed I’… read more

Thanks for the response! I’m also trying to change my diet... limit dairy and gluten to see if it helps.

Good luck to you as well!
