Hi. I have been bleeding for ten weeks. Bloods etc have come back normal. Doc said she cannot confirm if I am perimenopausal or not, but believes that I am due to symptoms - major brain fog, fatigue, vertigo, light sensitivity, tingling in feet and hands, bubbling sensation up legs, aching joints, electric shocks, depression and anxiety (along with my usual endo pain). My question about perimenopause and endo is if others who have gone through it suffered chest pains? - aches above breasts, in… read more
I started this medication almost a month ago. I’ve been having some problems at work and it’s causing me to get upset. When I used to get upset I just had to let myself calm down. But I got so angry the other day I threw my phone at the wall. I have taken orlissa before and it made my emotions BAD, and I’m wondering if this medication is doing the same. So any experience with it I’d love to hear it.
Thank you, yes I’m on 5mg. I took orlissa a few years back and it was awful. I just don’t really know if this emotional stuff is due to things that have been going on or if the medication is just… read more
So I love my heating pads. I have both electric and microwave heated. Always looking for recommendations though to add to my heating pad collection. Do any of you have a favorite brand? I use these almost daily, between my fibro and endo. :)
Agree ^^^^
Does anyone use heating pads in their workplace? I've been using the stick-on disposable heat patches. I am thinking of getting a heat pad for my office desk chair but can't seem to find anything designed for this purpose.
I hear Sunbeam is another good brand for electrical heating pads.
I just recently started school again, and I can't take my normal heating pad to class with me to plug into the wall, because that would cause a scene that I don't want to make. I have heard of portable heating pads, ones that run on a power bank and hold an 8 hour charge. It fits under your clothes so nobody knows you're wearing it..... but I can't seem to find one. Does anybody have any ideas?
I believe in rice bags an cornie bags. I found all mine at arts an craft fairs, just need access to a microwave.
I started Loestrin 3 weeks ago and this week would technically be the week that I would get my period, but I'm not taking a placebo week, just continuing with the pill to skip my period as per my doctors orders. So far, other than actually bleeding, I have all the same symptoms as I do during my period. Severe nausea, vomiting, cramping pain in my abdomen, fatigue is horrible, pain with urination, pain with bowel movements, some constipation and low back pain. I know it can take some time to… read more

Hello
I was looking at electric blankets online. Is it a good idea to buy one? I used to have one but that was a long time ago. I want one for this winter when it gets really cold at night. What is the best make of electric blanket and why? Tell me about your favourite electric blanket and safety tips too. Recommendations wanted many thanks in advance. Ideally the electric blanket needs to be a portable one and easy to plug in as well

What size bed do you have?
So I found out recently that my right ovary is stuck to my bowel, I have a peritoneal inclusion cyst and endo on my uterosacral ligament. I don’t know which of those is causing my pain but it is a literal pain in the butt 😅 Right where my glute and leg meet is in pain most of the time, sometimes it goes down my leg. Aside from sitting with a golf ball pressing on that area I’ve discovered paddle boarding helps if I’m kneeling. I don’t know if the movement is stretching or strengthening the area… read more
Thank you!! I hope your recovery is going well! I had a total hysterectomy 2 years ago, both fallopian tubes and one ovary removed, I’m really hoping to keep my remaining one even if it is stuck to my… read more

I had my 1st laparoscopy and Mirena coil insertion 3 weeks ago, but bleeding (not spotting) has continued and I'm wondering when it stops?? Im also taking microgynon for the past two months. Also the morning pain flare ups are quite the nuisance. not sure if all this is normal or part of the normal recovery?
I'm sorry you're going through this - I completely relate! I had the surgery and UID insertion about a month ago and haven't stopped bleeding since. Sometimes lighter and sometimes heavy clots… read more
