Unsuccessful Surgery

Unsuccessful Surgery

I've been in chronic pain for 1 year and 10 months. It started on the left side of my pelvis and had spread to sometimes include my chest. I have had pain during and after sex; painful bowel movements and gas; pain in my back, hips, legs, and ribs; and before I was on my previous hormone treatment, had shortness of breath and felt like there was a band around my rib cage. Met with my GYN for post op appointment yesterday, and she said she didn't find any endometriosis. Before surgery, she… read more

Has anybody tried the pill ‘ Yasmin ‘ and can they tell me if it has worked for them?

Hello, I got told I had endometriosis yesterday and straight away they gave me Yasmin to try as I have just turned 20 and they want to try everything they can before I have surgery as they don’t want to start so young so I was just wondering if I could find out if anyone has or uses this pill and could give me some advice, thank you x

Has anyone struggled with low estrogen levels for no obvious reason?

Has anyone struggled with low estrogen levels for no obvious reason?

I'm specifically asking women who still have their ovaries and are premonopause are not on any hormone inhibitors (like Lupron). It is so weird to me because it starting showing in my bloodwork after excision surgery and my hysterectomy (complete, not radical) that I have low estrogen levels. I figured it was my body adjusting to the excising of the endometriomas as well as maybe the removal of my tubes, but the low estrogen has continued to… read more

Endometriosis and levels of estradiol

Endometriosis and levels of estradiol

I'm having surgery in 3 days and wondering what levels of estradiol is normal for someone with endo. My level was a 6...which is very abnormal regularly but I'd like to know if that has to do with the endo or are all my symptoms related to low estradiol?

different endo pain/health insurance/switching drs/worry

different endo pain/health insurance/switching drs/worry

My endo pain today is pretty significantly different today than it has been in the years since I've been diagnosed. Could it be a cyst? Could it be more endo that has grown back after surgery? Could it be that I went jetskiing yesterday and ate junk food? I have switched insurance since I had my last surgery, have a ton of medical debt, and don't know when the point would be to actually take myself into an ER. I worry a lot. I don't want… read more

They played the sound during my ultrasound yesterday

They played the sound during my ultrasound yesterday

I had an ultrasound yesterday looking for issues with my ovary or possible blood filled cysts. Is it normal to have them play the sound during the ultrasound (I am not pregnant) I don’t remember them doing this last time!

This is only my second ultrasound, I have been seeking advise since I was 13. I’m 30 now. Just hoping this scan provides me with some answers or I can finally receive laparoscopy for a proper diagnosis.

Yeah, you can hear your own pulse (blood pumping through the ovaries) in an ultrasound. Weird that the tech didn't warn you but hearing your "heartbeat"… read more

Exercise

Exercise

Yesterday I went for a 4km walk, I have heard it can help with pain so I have been doing them most days. Yesterday I wanted to run a little so I ran a bit and I felt like I got a really bad stitch, it was right around the area of the endometrioma. It took a while to go away so when it was almost gone I tried to run again. I felt a pain it felt like a stitch but it was sooo painful it took my breath away it felt like a stitch but 10x worse and it was right around the area of my endometrioma. I thought it… read more

Experience Provoked Vestibulitis?

Experience Provoked Vestibulitis?

So I was recently officially diagnosed with stage 1 endo with severe symptoms but I also had symptoms that were unrelated to endo when I first noticing my endo. I finally got some answers yesterday when I saw a vulvar specialist for the first time. He highly believes that I have provoked vestibulitis and we are in the beginning tests/stages of figuring out what caused it. Has anyone else experienced this? What were the causes for you? Treatments? Where was yours located? My pain… read more

It did help. I use it every night before bed, and then an extra bit before sex and it helped it hurt less. I highly recommend it!

Interference of CBD Oil and Birth Control

Interference of CBD Oil and Birth Control

I am starting to take CBD oil to help reduce my pain and I am concerned it is going to interfere with the birh control I am on. Does anyone know if its cbd or thc in general that interferes with how estrogen based birth control works? Just a little worried I am going to be decreasing the efficacy of my birth control and therfore my endometriosis will come back faster or I will have more breakthrough bleeding.

iud after laproscopy

iud after laproscopy

Hey everyone! I had a laproscopy yesterday and also had a Kyleena inserted. So far, I haven't felt anything from the Kyleena and no bleeding or anything. Anyone else had a similar experience? Is it normal to not feel anything at all?
