My laroscopy was friday and I haven't had a bowel movement yet. I have been eating plenty since surgery. Had half a pizza yesterday and mac and cheese the day of surgery on top of soup. Yesterday i noticed some pain during eating that I think may be related but aside from that I feel fine. Should I be concerned?
For some reason I can’t post this anywhere so I’m sorry if this is the wrong place or something. But I’m hoping it posts. I had my diagnostic lap. today. I know some of you were following my post where I asked for tips to see how today went. First, thank you all so much for your input in well wishes. I order an abdominal support band that was recommended to me, I’m hopefully it will help especially since I’m heavier and have a mommy pooch from my… read more
My endo pain today is pretty significantly different today than it has been in the years since I've been diagnosed. Could it be a cyst? Could it be more endo that has grown back after surgery? Could it be that I went jetskiing yesterday and ate junk food? I have switched insurance since I had my last surgery, have a ton of medical debt, and don't know when the point would be to actually take myself into an ER. I worry a lot. I don't want… read more
Hi everyone I'm a new member here,
I'm curious if anyone else experiences these attacks if they're normal of endo:
So it starts with mild cramping, what I'll take as a bowel cramp, I'll go to relieve myself but afterwords I'm met with an intense colicky stabbing pain right up my groin and backside and into the front of my pelvis where my uterus sits. Yesterday I had such a bad attack I went to the ER I couldn't physically cope with the amount of pain I was in.

I am starting to take CBD oil to help reduce my pain and I am concerned it is going to interfere with the birh control I am on. Does anyone know if its cbd or thc in general that interferes with how estrogen based birth control works? Just a little worried I am going to be decreasing the efficacy of my birth control and therfore my endometriosis will come back faster or I will have more breakthrough bleeding.
Before Christmas I went to see my doctor as I had a weird pinching sensation in my inner thigh and had been experiencing pain during sex for a number of years. They did a smear which came back clear (my previous had shown abnormal cells). I then had an upset stomach after eating at a restaurant in the few days running up to Christmas, and since then my stomach hasn't really entirely settled down, with a combination of loose stools and mild constipation.
I was coping with this… read more
Am asking on behalf of someone
Hey ladies. I am currently stuck on the public system waiting list for a laparoscopy and I just cannot wait anymore, my life has turned upside down!
As I live in Darwin, there are not a lot of options. The best specialists in the area are with the public hospital and I'm not prepared to risk it with a standard gyno.
I don't have private health insurance but I am prepared to pay whatever it costs to get this sorted Asap!
Has anyone opted for interstate surgery?
What was the process?… read more
Has anyone ever had a total hysterectomy for their endometriosis and then had to use estrogen patches and/or estrogen cream vaginally?? I had a little bit of endo on my bladder and I find that every time I use the vaginal estrogen cream, it really irritates Mt bladder. Anyone else have that? Also can using the estrogen cream irritate the bladder more if there is a uti?? Thx!
Yesterday I went for a 4km walk, I have heard it can help with pain so I have been doing them most days. Yesterday I wanted to run a little so I ran a bit and I felt like I got a really bad stitch, it was right around the area of the endometrioma. It took a while to go away so when it was almost gone I tried to run again. I felt a pain it felt like a stitch but it was sooo painful it took my breath away it felt like a stitch but 10x worse and it was right around the area of my endometrioma. I thought it… read more
