I've just started on it I'm experiencing hot flashes and skin irritation but staying hopeful that it will lesson the pain I'm constantly in.
Hi
I had my first surgery four years ago, got relief for 2 years now I am back to having debilitating pain. Saw my specialist and he has diagnosed me with adneomyosis, and possible reoccurring endometriosis, I thought it rarely comes back? Should I be worried about having another surgery, I just want the pain to stop or give me a break so I can live
Endometriosis has no known cause and no known cure. There is never a guarantee that it will not return and no doctor can give you such a guarantee. That is why people should be careful in considering… read more
How do you find out what stage of endometriosis you Have?
No medical professional has ever told me what stage of endo I have. I have only a guess based on other info they told me and a staging chart I found online. I was told my surgeon removed endo from my… read more
Hi everyone! I stumbled upon this page when looking for some support groups for woman who suffer from endo. I am sure we can all relate to the rollercoaster of emotions and the journey we all experience.
Lately my pain has been getting increasingly strong. What do you guys do when you are having flare ups?
Heating pad, omega 3, turmeric, Advil.. my favorite pjs and a happy movie. Trying to eat well and exercise as well (even light yoga for endometriosis) when I'm in pain sounds counter-intiutive, but it… read more

Does anyone use heating pads in their workplace? I've been using the stick-on disposable heat patches. I am thinking of getting a heat pad for my office desk chair but can't seem to find anything designed for this purpose.
I hear Sunbeam is another good brand for electrical heating pads.
I have been diagnosed with endo and had the scope with laser to remove the cells a year ago. I’ve been using bc as a hormone therapy for a long time. I’ve been doing research into holistic remedies along with medication. Has anyone looked into changing diet/a special diet? Any advice or things that worked?
Check out Dr Sandra Cabot’s on line book on Endometriosis. Change in diet can make a massive difference. A Gluten free & Dairy free helps a lot with pain :))
And if you could tell me how you use it (eg what type of ice packs, how long to use it for etc) that would be great!
You’re welcome
I had a laproscopy to diagnose/remove endo tissue mid October 23. I just fell skiing on Jan 13th and started spotting/light bleeding on the 15th only 5 days after my period (which had lasted 13 days). Should I be concerned or am I jumping to conclusions? My right ovarie area is really hurting.
I had my laparoscopy in September 2023 and shortly after had my period which seemed to flare up the tissue removal spots. I also have primarily right side ovary pain as well. My doctor has recommend I… read more
New here but sadly not to endometriosis. Obviously I live with the burden of this disease running my life and marriage so after a year of being told I need a hysterectomy I have scheduled it. The Dr is saying 6 weeks for healing. We are doing laparoscopic with the possibility of abdominal removal as I have Stage 4 and it is covering my bowels and possibly reached my bladder. Any of you who have had a hysterectomy please tell me how long did it take until you could move around at least for an… read more
