Please can anyone suggest anything that works for pain I have tried everything under the sun nothing works morphine dosnt work I’m going round and round in circles for help
I took tramadol at night and my doctor suggested Aleve by day... I wish I could remember the does. I think it was twice daily
I'm having my 5th injection tomorrow and I've detested everyone. The NHS is horrendous at the moment with lack of communication. The prostap injection makes my pelvic pain unbelievably painful to the point I can barely walk, I get endo belly, horrendous gas/wind and nauseas. I've been waiting for an (urgent) appointment to see my gynaecologist since April.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Neither did I :( I wasted years seeing doctors that weren’t specialists and weren’t helping me, Could you request a referral via your gp to see one? X
I have doctors that keep wanting to prescribe me muscle relaxers and ibuprofen and it’s honestly insulting. IDK what to ask for, but I know it has to be something stronger than Advil and Aleve out there. I’m in unbearable pain every month it affects work, hobbies, etc. I just want a quality of life that doesn’t involve being in pain all the time.
Omg same! My doctor tried prescribing me anxiety meds and muscle relaxers. Thanks but no thanks! I rather not live like a zombie.
These are approved in the UK to aid weight loss for diabetes patients but some people report helped endometriosis

How long were you on meds before your doctor decided to do a laparoscopy? My gyn wants to put me on orlissa or bc for 6months to a year before doing a laparoscopy? Do you find that to be typical?

Hello, I wanted to speak to people that have been diagnosed and how they knew it was endo. I've been going to the doctor due to lower left abdomen pain that has been going on for a year. Some days it's worse than others but when on my period the pain in my entire uterus and rectum is really extremely bad (for about 5 years now) It doesn't feel like cramps and sometimes I feel like I'm going to faint or like something is trying to come out of my because of the shooting pains but now my lower left… read more
I hope they find some answers for me when I see the surgeon. She's also an endomitriosis specialist so I'm really hoping they do everything they can to figure out what's wrong with me. I'm tired of… read more
I take morphine, buscpan and paracetamol which still doesn't help with the pain but they can't put me on anything stronger
Has anyone had an On-Q pain pump installed in their abdomen at the end of surgery? It delivers a local anesthetic in steady doses over the course of 4 days:
My surgeon is recommending it due to my very high pain levels. If you've used it, did it help you? And how far out from the installation site did it provide pain relief? Did it only numb your skin/incision site? Or did it also help with abdominal wall pain from having endo removed from the abdominal wall… read more
