Have to wait at least 4 months for my next laparoscopy. I have stage 3 endo and normally luckily only suffer for 2 weeks before, during and after period. My last laparoscopy will be 2 years ago. I have been having increasing amounts of pain this side of the year and since my last period over a week ago (lasting 2 days) I am in constant pain and brown spotting. Can anyone recommend anything other than co-codamol and naproxen cocktail? Really upset and can not bear the thought to be in this much… read more
Have you ever tried acupuncture?
I have doctors that keep wanting to prescribe me muscle relaxers and ibuprofen and it’s honestly insulting. IDK what to ask for, but I know it has to be something stronger than Advil and Aleve out there. I’m in unbearable pain every month it affects work, hobbies, etc. I just want a quality of life that doesn’t involve being in pain all the time.
Omg same! My doctor tried prescribing me anxiety meds and muscle relaxers. Thanks but no thanks! I rather not live like a zombie.
Had mine four years ago .I would definately agree with taking something to read or watch as might be long wait as I went in early morning but wasn't operated on till well later in day .Also It took me… read more
I take morphine, buscpan and paracetamol which still doesn't help with the pain but they can't put me on anything stronger
I need some advice. I’m 20 and I’ve been living with endometriosis and adenomyosis for as long as I can remember. I’m at the point where I’m socializing more (or will be, once life becomes more pre-COVID like) and I don’t want to have to avoid going out or going on dates anymore because of the wretched pain that comes with every period.
I’ve tried everything but marijuana, and honestly, nothing works, prescription meds, ibuprofen, Advil, Tylenol, heating pads, warm baths, staying hydrated… read more
I would not worry too much about what others think. Unfortunately, there are always people that will judge us , but true friends or partners will come to understand what you are going through. It… read more
I'm confused about putting crushed pills inside of me and it staying in to bring relief. Bc if I take one by mouth...I'm rolling around for an hour before the pain meds kick in. I can't get in with my doctor until next month to even ask her about the Valium...and I'm going to have severe pain days starting soon. I can tell more and more frequently when they're going to start. And I am having more bad than good days for pain. Should I Google the Norco question?
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member - I am so sorry you have this gene & have been told you'll absolutely get cancer 😞 totally fine to have a hysterectomy later to prevent cancer but that doesn't mean you… read more

Thank you so much, I really appreciate the support. Your response was really helpful. Good to know I shouldn’t push myself :) thanks again
I take Visanne and Tramacet for my back. It kind of helps as it knocks me out and all I want to do is sleep
My doctor has given me two prescriptions for 20 norco. I have decided to do the Lupron shot instead of another surgery. I'm in that much pain. I am still on my period and in terrible pain. Is it bad if I ask for another script?
I have tried everything for my lower abdominal pain. I have tried a heating pad, hot shower, cold shower ibuprofen, alive, anti inflammatory which is prescribed for it I even took a norco a couple hours ago with no relief. What else could I try for pain relief?
Vissane, pelvic pain stopper
Replaces birth control
I was on it for 7months with no pain and no period.
