She's had Endo for a couple years now, been on continuous birth control, now on MyFembree with an addition of estrogen. Nothing works, and her symptoms are getting worse. I've contacted her doctor to schedule laproscopic surgery, and came across Presacral Neurectomy. Wondering if anyone has had it?

I got a message in my portal and so far they're saying we can do a diagnostic lap with excision of endo if found along with a presacral neurectomy because I'm not ready to have a hysterectomy yet. Any thoughts, pros/cons on the presacral neurectomy??

I know this may be a private subject for some of you, but I'm curious how many of you are suffering from disrupted orgasm.

Right now I'm taking Tramadol and an occasional duiladid and not sure if that is disrupting an orgasm or if it's the presacral neurectomy I had done.

Any insight?

I’m 23 years old and I am about to have my first laparoscopic excision surgery on March 3rd. Along with the excision surgery my doctor wants to do a presacral neurectomy. I have read that this either doesn’t work, makes the pain worse or makes orgasms nearly impossible. So I’m not sure if I should agree to do the presacral neurectomy or not. Any suggestions/opinions/experiences?

Has anybody tried PRESACRAL NEURECTOMY? Is it effective for dyspareunia? I have an unexplained vaginal pain which is the worst of all. No doctor seemed to relieve me so far 😣

My doc has been talking about doing a presacral neurectomy. The thought of it terrifies me, but at the same time i dont want to keep going thru 2 surgeries a year.. has anyone had this done? Pros and cons? Does it actually give long term relief?

Hello! I am having trouble finding pain medications that actually works to relieve pain. I have used narcotics in the past but those just make me sick. Ibuprofen and naproxen occasionally work but I need something that works! Any suggestions??

I am trying to decide whether to try a presacral neurectomy, IUD, or just get a hysterectomy. I am having immense pelvic and rectal pain. It radiates down my legs.

What resources did you use to find a good surgeon? Were you worried about their skill before you went under? How did you evaluate them to feel comfortable with them?
