Lupron Depot treatment following Laparoscopic treatment for Endometrosis

Lupron Depot treatment following Laparoscopic treatment for Endometrosis

A little over a month ago, I underwent laparoscopic surgery to remove a cyst the size of a grapefruit from my left ovary. During that surgery, I was definitively diagnosed with severe endometrosis, and my doctor removed a number of endometriotic lesions.

--Background--
Prior to having this surgery, I was having severe pain when I ovulated. Excruciating pain that lasted hours, sometimes days, which affected my ability to attend work. My… read more

Endo awareness Youtube

Endo awareness Youtube

Hi ladies. I hope that you're all coping well with your endo & that you're feeling peaceful (although probably unlikely). I'm wondering, I have a Youtube channel & am wanting to put up a video about what endo is & to share my journey with endo (to promote awareness of this condition, as well as to get us talking & sharing). What I'd like to know is if any of you would happen to have any advice or interesting tips that I could include in the video for those who may be… read more

Anyone on Visanne having unbearable pain?

Anyone on Visanne having unbearable pain?

I have been on Visanne 2mg for 6 weeks. The spotting/light bleeding started 10 days after I was on the pill, and until today, the bleeding never stopped. It got a bit heavier starting at week 5: bright red blood with some small clots, but much less bleeding than a regular period. From time to time, I got cramps and I took an Advil, then I can carry on without any problem. But for the last 3-4 days, my pain is getting much much worse. At 2AM I woke up by some very sharp… read more

I would definitely have a second opinion as visanne can actually cause cysts (or so it says in the manual). A laparoscopy would be good to at least… read more

Experience with Prometrium (progesterone)

Experience with Prometrium (progesterone)

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has had experience and/or success using Prometrium, primarily to reduce bleeding? I had a lap 3 years ago for endo, some relief for a time but symptoms increasing, and now heavy bleeding with suspected Adenomyosis. My wonderful naturopath suggest I try Prometrium (I have been using progesterone cream with no luck) but I am having difficulty getting it prescribed.

Any feedback appreciated, thank you :)

Endometriosis UK

Endometriosis UK

Hey Ladies, for the ones in the UK are any of you registered to Endo uk? I just navigated around the website and they are doing some great events for get togethers and raising awareness, I feel exceptionally well today so I would like to participate in some of the events, however that can change! I was wondering would anybody be interested once having a look at some of the events in perhaps joining in and doing something with a fellow endo warrior to help uplift our moods and promote awareness??… read more

Symptom tracker diary/journal

Symptom tracker diary/journal

I've recently tried bullet journaling to track my symptoms so I can find triggers/ correlations when, but I'm not going to lie it takes a lot of effort to plan it all, then set it up and then obviously remember to use it everyday, I was wondering if anyone knows of any premade health diaries that I can use to track appointments and as a general diary also?

Clothing with endo

Clothing with endo

We all have one thing in common (endo) even though some might have additional issues. I'm at home currently happy as could be to finally switch to oversized soft sweatpants and my robe. Not wearing tight clothing is amazing when you hurt. What do y'all wear when you are out in public? I hate wearing leggings totally necessary due to my career field. I personally like wearing dresses if the weather permits because yay for no tightness around my pelvis.
